!melk's renovation of Las Vegas Boulevard is gradually becoming visible! While the first phase in front of the hotels New York New York and Monte Carlo is scheduled to be officially revealed at the end of April of 2014, the first areas are already opened for the public. This transformative project comprises an all new pedestrian realm for the City, and will include the first park in history along the iconic Las Vegas Strip!
!melk is pleased to be part of the team led by REX for the Winning Competition Entry to expand The Mercedes-Benz World in Stuttgart, Germany!
The architectural competition was launched in the Summer of 2012 by Diamler AG to complete the vision of The Mercedes-Benz World complex. Originally opened in 2006, the complex currently consists of the UN-Studio designed Mercedes-Benz Museum (displaying the brand’s Past) and the Mercedes-Benz Center (displaying the brand’s Present).
The Winning Design for the expansion of The Mercedes-Benz World features a new Future Center, designed by REX, and an expanded campus landscape by !melk, that includes a spectacular artival plaza as well as a new large urban park.
Brown University's Jewelry District Public Realm in Providence, RI, designed by !melk wins honorable mention in the first edition of the Architect's Newspaper's Best of Design Awards, category: Best Landscape.
